At this meeting, the helmet of the new national standard was interpreted in detail. It is reported that the new national standard "motorcycle, electric bicycle occupant helmet" (GB 811-2022) will be fully implemented after July 1, 2023, will put forward higher requirements for helmet products, from the quality and technical specifications to better protect the needs of consumers and public safety needs. Compared with the old version, the new standard adds the electric bicycle occupant helmet. The helmet specifications are modified from 3 categories to 5 categories, and the requirements for goggles, surface friction and other indicators are added.

During the summit forum, scholars and experts from China Quality Certification Center, Defective Product Management Center of State Administration for Market Regulation, Dongguan University of Technology, Huawei Cloud and leading electric bicycle and battery enterprises held a roundtable salon, and had in-depth exchanges on electric bicycle helmets, echelon utilization of lithium batteries, electric bicycle modification, integration of high-tech and electric bicycles.
